نظم المعلومات الجغرافية هي تقنية بتساعدنا نجمع ونحلل بيانات عن الأماكن والمواقع، عشان نقدر نفهم العلاقات بينهم وناخد قرارات صح. أما الاستشعار عن بعد فهو لما نستخدم الأقمار الصناعية أو الطيارات عشان نصوّر الأرض ونجمع معلومات من غير ما نلمسها. والتقنيتين دول بيكملوا بعض في تتبع التغيرات البيئية، التخطيط، وإدارة الكوارث.

Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is a technology that helps us collect and analyze data about places and locations, so we can understand their relationships and make informed decisions. Remote sensing (RS), on the other hand, is when we use satellites or airplanes to capture images of the Earth and gather information without direct contact. These two technologies complement each other in monitoring environmental changes, planning, and disaster management.
