Project Description: Customer Churn Analysis for Telecommunications Company
Introduction
This project aims to develop an interactive dashboard using Excel to analyze and understand customer churn rates for a telecommunications company. The data used in this project was collected from Kaggle, processed, and analyzed to provide crucial insights into customer behavior.
Project Stages
1. Data Preparation:
Data Collection: Customer churn dataset was downloaded from Kaggle.
Data Cleaning: Data was cleaned to ensure quality and inclusivity,
handling missing data .
2. Data Analysis:
Exploring the dataset was pivotal to identify key variables potentially
influencing customer churn were scrutinized to uncover insights into their
impact on churn rates.
3. Data Visualization:
Dashboard Creation: An interactive dashboard was designed using Excel
to present results and analysis in a simplified and understandable manner.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Key performance indicators like Total
Customer, Churn Rate, Churn Customer, Retention Rate, and Retain
Customer were included.
Charts: Different charts like pie charts and bar charts were utilized to
display the distribution of churned customers .
Tools and Technologies Used
Excel: Used for data analysis and designing the interactive dashboard.
