I’m a software engineer passionate about building highly scalable web applications, microservices, and improving the next generation developer tooling.

I have a degree in Computers and Systems Engineering from The Faculty of Engineering at Minya University, I’ve graduated with an accumulative grade of Excellent with Honors, and I’ve earned a grade of Excellent in my graduation project as well, at which, I’ve collaborated with researchers from the University of Queensland (Ranked 176th globally), to work on the problem of cross-view geo-localization, and we have published our results at a peer-reviewed open-access journal (PLOS One)

In addition to that, I have professional work experience as a Software Engineer; I’ve worked remotely in a part-time position in a UAE-based company providing security services called Salus-Lab. I’ve worked on their upcoming Security-as-a-Service product, Demeter, a few of the technical aspects I worked on the project can be listed as follows:

• Implementation and Integration of various systems (Authentication, Licensing, and Security Services)

• Implemented and documented various REST APIs to work with different databases (MongoDB, Redis,

Elasticsearch) using Node.js Fastify framework.

• Developed a frontend application using Vue.js 3 with Vite.

• Used Docker and Docker-compose to containerize and deploy web applications.

• Implemented CI/CD Pipelines using GitHub Actions.

I also have a various open source contributions, most notably, to Fastify (Node.js framework), where I've added features to their CLI which is used to scaffold Node.js templates for Fastify
