Marquee

Marquee is a web app for discovering movies and saving favorites, built with React and Vite. It shows top-rated movies and new releases, and lets users search by title, filter by genre (Action, Comedy, Drama, Horror, Sci-Fi, and more), and sort results. It includes a favorites page with a counter, login and registration pages, and a responsive dark-themed interface. Movie data is fetched from an external API, the API key is managed securely with GitHub Secrets, and the app is deployed automatically to GitHub Pages using GitHub Actions.
