GFR - Global Forum for Researchers Full-Stack · Hackathon Winner

A full-scale academic networking platform for researchers, professors, and doctoral students. Features include a blind peerreview journal system, academic conferences management, real-time messaging, user profiles, posts feed, and a full admin

panel. Backend exposes 28+ RESTful endpoints secured with Laravel Sanctum. First-place winner of a hackathon

competition. Deployed via Docker on Render.com (backend) and Vercel (frontend).

Prayer Times App API Integration

Displays accurate prayer times based on the user's geolocation by consuming a public REST API. Includes dynamic time

updates and responsive design.

Developed and deployed multiple full-stack web applications using React and Laravel, covering complete frontend and

backend development cycles.

Built 13+ JavaScript projects ranging from interactive games (Tic Tac Toe, Drag and Drop) to utility tools (Prayer Times

API, Internet Connection Checker, Image Editor).

Applied REST API integration, DOM manipulation, browser APIs (Canvas, Navigator, Drag and Drop), and local storage

in real-world projects.

• Practised UI/UX principles by building creative landing pages, scrolling effect websites, and multi-interface showcases.

• Designed and implemented 9 models, 6 controllers, and 28+ API endpoints with Sanctum authentication.

• Built a modular React frontend with Material UI covering all major pages and an admin dashboard.

• Containerised the full backend with Docker and deployed to Render.com with PostgreSQL
