Data Analysis Project: World Wide Importers (Excel → Power BI Dashboard)

I completed an end-to-end data analysis project using the World Wide Importers dataset World Wide Importers, starting from raw data processing in Excel and ending with an interactive Power BI dashboard.

Work Completed:

Cleaned and structured raw data using Excel functions and techniques

Built a data model and established relationships between tables

Created key performance indicators (KPIs) and calculated measures

Designed an interactive Power BI dashboard to extract actionable business insights

Key Insights:

Clear variation in performance across different product categories

A small number of products generate the majority of revenue and profit (80/20 principle)

Several low-performing products were identified and require optimization or review

Revenue is highly dependent on a limited group of key customers

Business Recommendations:

Focus on scaling high-performing products to maximize profitability

Reprice, reduce, or optimize underperforming products

Strengthen customer retention strategies for high-value clients

Improve inventory planning based on demand analysis and trends
