This project demonstrates practical networking skills through an Inter-VLAN Routing lab completed as part of the Digilians – Digital Pioneers initiative at the Military Academy.
Key tasks performed:
- Configured 4 VLANs with separate subnets
- Set up DHCP pools for automatic IP assignment
- Implemented Inter-VLAN Routing using a Router-on-a-Stick topology
- Configured trunk ports and router sub-interfaces with 802.1Q encapsulation
- Tested connectivity between PCs across VLANs with successful ping tests
This hands-on exercise strengthened my practical skills in VLAN management, DHCP configuration, and inter-VLAN routing, bridging the gap between theory and real-world network scenarios.
