We built a complete, intelligent platform that predicts gold prices using deep learning models, while also providing users with real-time market updates, investment recommendations, educational content, and historical analysis of gold trends based on major global events. It's designed to support smarter and more informed financial decisions.
? My Role: Back-End Developer
I was mainly responsible for building and managing the back-end system of the platform. Using Node.js, I developed secure and scalable RESTful APIs that handled everything from user authentication to data processing and communication with the AI model.
Some of my main contributions:
Built the server-side logic and integrated it with both the Flask AI model and the React.js front-end, enabling users to get live predictions and buy/sell/hold recommendations instantly.
Managed user authentication and data storage using MongoDB.
Connected multiple services together to ensure smooth data flow between the front-end, back-end, and AI components.
Used Postman for API testing and ngrok for secure local development.
Collaborated closely with the AI team to make sure the model receives the right features and returns reliable predictions.
My focus was to ensure the back-end was robust, secure, and well-integrated — allowing the platform to run smoothly and deliver a strong real-time experience for users.
