Developed a Power BI dashboard to analyze $187.8M in claims and 37,542 policies for a car insurance company. Goal: Identify high-risk segments to inform underwriting and marketing strategy. Solution: Created interactive visuals breaking down Total Claim Amount by Car Use (Private vs. Commercial), Car Make, Coverage Zone, and Marital/Education status. Impact: Provided clarity on claims drivers, revealing that Private use accounts for $150.4M and the Single/Married segments (regardless of education) drive the highest claim costs, enabling targeted risk management.
