The robot is designed to explore the environments that is harsh or dangerous for a human to be in.

The mechanical chassis of the robot was designed to provide a sinusoidal waveform movement to give it flexibility and make it able to cross obstacles and harsh environment.

We used Raspberry PI4 as the main controller of this project. Data transfer and movement control was done over WIFI.

The robot has two driving modes; the manual mode where we control the whole movement of the robot, and the automatic mode where the robot drive itself by taking images of the surrounding area and doing image processing to detect the way it can go through.

Power distribution board was designed and made locally by us to lower the cost of the electrical part of the project.

The robot provide us with a live video of the explored area and image processing functionality as well as face detection ability, it also provide us with some data that will help to know more about the area such as temperature, humidity, toxic gases, and the percent of UV light in the area.
