I worked on collecting, entering, and cleaning a student dataset in Excel that combines both academic and lifestyle information. The dataset was designed to capture student details for analysis and reporting.
️ The dataset included the following columns:
Gender – student’s gender.
Age – student’s age.
College (الكلية) – the college the student belongs to.
Level – academic level (e.g., first year, second year).
GPA – grade point average.
Smoking Habits (مدخن؟) – indicates smoking status.
Social Level (المستوي الاجتماعي) – socioeconomic background.
Religion (الديانة) – student’s religion.
العبادات (السنن) – practice of religious rituals.
Preferred Communication Method (الوسيلة المفضلة للتواصل) – how the student prefers to communicate.
Living Environment Preference (تفضيلات بيئة العيش) – preferred type of living environment.
Describe Your Daily Routine (صف يومك) – short description of the student’s daily routine.
Frequency of Cooking at Home (الطهي في المنزل) – how often the student cooks at home.
How would you describe your study or habits (كيف تصف عادات دراستك أو عملك؟) – self-assessment of study/work habits.
What qualities are most important to you in a roommate (ما هي الصفات الأكثر أهمية بالنسبة لك في زميل السكن؟) – selected roommate qualities.
Select a few favorite hobbies or activities (النشاطات المفضلة) – student’s hobbies/activities.
Would you prefer to have a weekly recreational activity? (هل تفضل وجود نشاط ترفيهي اسبوعي؟) – student’s preference for recreational activities.
️ My role in this project:
Manual data entry of all student responses.
Data cleaning (handling missing values, fixing inconsistent formats, removing duplicates).
Structuring the dataset to be ready for further analysis (trends, lifestyle insights, academic performance).
This project reflects my skills in Data Entry, Data Cleaning, and Dataset Preparation in Excel, with the ability to manage both qualitative and quantitative data accurately.
