ShippingHub - Comprehensive Freight Management Platform
Description
ShippingHub is a custom-built website I developed to streamline freight management for a fictional shipping company. This responsive web application, crafted using React and CSS, offers a user-friendly interface for tracking shipments, exploring services, and contacting the company. Key features include:
Real-Time Tracking Dashboard: An interactive section where users can input tracking numbers to view live shipment statuses, designed with smooth animations and a clean layout using a #003087 blue header and #F5F5F5 light gray background.
Service Showcase: A dedicated page detailing Air Freight, Sea Freight, and Road Transportation options, each with collapsible panels for detailed descriptions, enhanced with SVG icons and a consistent Montserrat font.
Contact & Partnership Section: A form with validation and a map integration (using a placeholder API) to display office locations, alongside trusted partner logos (e.g., custom-designed DHL and FedEx equivalents) for credibility.
Responsive Design: Fully optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile, with a hamburger menu on smaller screens and a sticky navigation bar, ensuring accessibility across devices.
The website stands out with its original content, including hand-coded components and a unique color scheme (e.g., #D3D3D3 for borders, #FFD700 for highlights), avoiding templates or copied designs. It was built from scratch over three weeks, focusing on performance optimization (load time under 2 seconds) and user experience, making it a standout example of my ability to deliver professional-grade web solutions.
This project highlights my proficiency in React, JavaScript, and CSS, as well as my attention to detail in creating functional, visually appealing, and original web applications.
