The Grand Mosque is the largest and oldest mosque in the world and

surrounds one of the world's holiest places, the Kaaba.

The "King Abdullah

Haram Expansion" Project is the largest expansion of the Grand Mosque in

its four-thousand-year history. At a cost of US$22 billion, the new expansion

comprises new pray-yards, walkways, tunnels and the development of

existing service facilities to increase capacity of the mosque to more than 2

million people.

My scope was

. Devised overall strategy for documentation and identified design

sets planned for each stage of work including as-built designs and

final building information models (BIM).

O Supervised preparation of technical drawings by architectural

technicians, CAD technicians and drafters

. Recommended minor adaptations and modifications to complete

shop drawing sets

• Attended team meetings to resolve technical and project issues

coordinate with team members and review project schedules.

‣ Effectively supervised staff of 10 personnel by implementing

company policies, protocols, work rules and disciplinary action.

. Set, enforced and optimized internal policies to maintain efficiency

and responsiveness to demands.

. Led shop drawing team in delivery of high-quality projects
