E-commerce Data Analysis Project
I worked on an E-commerce dataset that required extensive cleaning, structuring, and analysis to uncover valuable business insights.
Data Cleaning:
Fixed issues in the dataset, including missing and inconsistent values.
Corrected the product delivery dates to ensure accurate tracking of shipping performance.
Standardized product information to avoid duplication and mismatched records.
Analysis & Structure:
I divided the analysis into three key dashboards:
Sales – showing sales volume, order distribution, and trends over time.
Revenue – highlighting revenue streams, product categories, and contribution by customer segments.
Profit – focusing on profitability by product and customer, identifying high-margin items.
Customer Insights:
Identified the most influential customers contributing to both sales and profit, which helped highlight key accounts for retention and growth strategies.
Dashboard Development:
Designed and developed a dynamic and interactive dashboard (using Power BI/Excel) that allows stakeholders to filter, drill down, and explore the data in real time, making the analysis more actionable and user-friendly.
This project not only improved the quality of the dataset but also delivered clear insights into sales performance, revenue drivers, and profit distribution, enabling smarter decision-making for the business.
