Berenice International Airport

1️⃣ The first phase was to develop a unique layout that would translate our vision into a practical, high-capacity airport terminal with a distinctive design.

2️⃣ The second phase focused on determining the various loads acting on the structure, according to the Egyptian code of loads 2012. This was challenging due to the diverse loads and, most significantly, the high wind loads resulting from the structure's 16.9-meter height and large exposure to wind.

3️⃣ Thirdly, we designed the various structural members according to the Egyptian design code, prioritizing cost-effectiveness. We utilized SAP2000 structural analysis software and Excel for design calculations, employing innovative composite members to withstand high loads.

4️⃣ Fourthly, we designed the various connections in the structure, using both welding and field bolted connections.

5️⃣ Fifthly, we created detailed drawings for all sections and connections of the project using specialized software like Tekla and AutoCAD, producing professional and easily understandable drawings.
