Necktapers Website phase 2 (Frontend and Backend)

.This project shows the 2nd phase of Necktapers website

.Necktapers is a barber shop in London, England

.In this project's 2nd phase, I designed the website's backend from scratch

At this phase, the client was interested in making any online appointment booking system which required a

.backend design for two branches the client owned New Cross Gate and Brockley

First, I setup a files in Visual Studio Code for sign up, login, client account page, and admin page as I did for the other pages in phase 1 of the project

. However, these pages had to be .php files as I will use PHP to make the sign up, login, and bookings process

The contact page was also changed from .html to .php as I used PHP inside it to make users send and receive emails to Necktapers directly from the webpage

Then I created a database called necktapers_database on my localhost

This database included 2 tables necktapers_users in which I stored and updated all the clients appointments information then posted it on both the clients accounts and the admin account using PHP and Mysql queries

The second table in the database was necktapers_email_verification _code in which I stored and updated the clients codes if they went through the forgot password process I designed to verify their identity before they can change their passwords

Also some styling and visual aspects were updated based on the clients wishes

After I finished everything related to the design I encountered a problem when it came to hosting the webpage

The first webpage I created for the client was static and did not require PHP coding thus was supported by GtHub

However after adding PHP to make the backend the website is now dynamic and PHP is not supported in GitHub so I had to change the hosting service and I chose Bluehost

I posted a demo of this phase's updates for the client to check few days ago and waiting for his approval so I can update the webpage on necktapers.com

Of course I updated the server information after posting the website online in my database.php file from localhost to BlueHost server information
