Title: EU Superstore
Project Objective:
•To improve the performance of the supermarket by tracking customers and their needs, identifying the departments that achieve the highest sales and profitability, and identifying the demographics and behavioral characteristics of customers.
Data Analysis Tools: SQL Server, Power BI, Excel, Power Query
Some results:
•The best department is the technology department, which achieves the highest sales .
•The consumer segment represents the highest segment, accounting for more than 50% of sales.
•Profits have increased at a close rate between 4% and 8% each year.
•Approximately 2,100 transactions were found to be losses, of which only 120 to returns.
•The profit was positive (559,019) and the loss was negative (186,189).
•Q4 and Q3 had higher discount rates than the rest of the quarters.
