تفاصيل العمل

This project aims to create a mobile application and web portal to support Palestinian prisoners' families and streamline the visitation process in Israeli occupation prisons. The mobile app allows families to easily book and coordinate visits with their imprisoned loved ones. It features a chat interface for direct communication with the International Committee of the Red Cross, enabling families to address queries and concerns. Users can browse available visits, access detailed information, and reserve slots. They can also request necessary certificates, such as visit permits or arrest certificates, which can be downloaded as PDFs for printing.

The mobile app also includes a real-time chat function for families to connect, share news, and offer support. The latest prisoner-related news published by the Red Cross staff is accessible within the app. Additionally, a web portal is designed for Red Cross staff to efficiently manage visit programs, maintain prisoner and family data, and communicate with families using direct chat. Real-time notifications keep families informed about any visit changes, and if needed, staff can follow up with phone calls. The system also generates certificates, such as health insurance documents, for staff use.

The project utilizes React Native and Node.js for app and website development, while SQLite and a database support backend operations. Ultimately, this initiative enhances communication between the Red Cross and prisoners' families, providing efficient services and modernizing the traditional methods employed by the organization to support prisoners and their families.
