This graduation report presents the design and analysis of a multiple sclerosis rehabilitation center. The main objective of the project was to create a facility that addresses the needs of patients with multiple sclerosis and contributes to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3 - Good Health and Well-being.
It discuss the architecture design of Rehabilitation center of Multiple Sclerosis . Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic autoimmune disease of the central nervous system that affects millions of people worldwide. MS can cause a range of physical, cognitive, and emotional disabilities that can severely impact a patient’s quality of life. Rehabilitation is an essential component of the management of MS, as it can help patients maintain independence and engage in meaningful activities.
The rehabilitation center is composed of three interconnected modules: the diagnosis wing, the treatment wing, and the residential wing. The design incorporates sustainable and inclusive features such as natural ventilation, wheelchair accessibility, and a healing garden. The report also includes a detailed construction analysis, which highlights the materials, cost, and environmental impact of the project.
The paper is divided into several chapters that include information about the building which are the plans , sections and elevations explained with details and obvious functionalities
Also it discuss the sustainability of the building as the environmental , economical , social sustainability mentioning which ones from the seventeen goal of sustainability is occurred in the building.
Overall, the multiple sclerosis rehabilitation center presented in this report demonstrates the potential of architecture and design to create spaces that contribute to the achievement of the SDGs and enhance the quality of life of individuals.
