This is my latest Tableau project for data analysis using the Adventure Works data warehouse.
Adventure Works data includes information about various aspects of the business, such as customers, products, orders, employees, sales, and more. Throughout my analysis, Tableau proved to be an invaluable tool. Its capabilities enabled me to effectively communicate these findings and highlight the significance of data-driven decision-making.
Here are some of the key areas I focused on:
1. Customers : I explored the customer data to gain a deeper understanding of their demographics, preferences, and behavior. By visualizing customer segments based on factors such as age, gender, and location, I was able to identify potential target markets for future marketing campaigns. Additionally, I analyzed customer purchasing patterns to identify the most valuable customers and tailor personalized offers accordingly.
2. Products : Adventure Works offers a wide range of products, and analyzing their sales performance was crucial. I examined product categories, sales volumes, and profitability to identify top-performing products and areas for improvement.
3. Currencies : Given Adventure Works' global presence, analyzing currency data was essential for understanding the impact of exchange rates on sales and profitability. And their influence on revenue in different regions. This analysis allowed me to make informed decisions regarding pricing, inventory management, and international expansion.
4. Promotions : Adventure Works frequently runs promotional campaigns to attract customers and boost sales. By analyzing past promotions, I assessed their effectiveness and identified key factors contributing to their success.
