Protein Secondary Structure Prediction

This project shows how to predict protein secondary structure using neural network. We got a good accuracy although we had to find the suitable data for this task. The data was noisy and not processed so we had to preprocess the data, which took us a long time to reach the point that allows us to use the neural network to predict the protein secondary structure alpha helix and beta sheet. We have learned a lot of things out of this project, coding python language and software such as WEKA in addition to the concept of machine learning namely neural network.
