Statistical and Geospatial Analysis using PowerBI/Excel and QGIS

Job Overview:

I am looking for a skilled data analyst to manage, analyze (statistically and geospatially), and derive actionable insights from large volumes of daily environmental data files (e.g., meteorological and air quality data).

Scope of Work:

1. Compiling and cleaning the data, automating the removal of outliers based on specific criteria, and conducting statistical analysis using PowerBI or Advanced Excel, including calculations including standard deviation, mean, variance, and regression analysis.

2. Formatting the data appropriately for QGIS to perform geospatial analyses, such as time-series analysis, spatial mapping, and density heatmaps.

3. Correlating derived insights with factors such as vegetation, population density, and health conditions to better understand the interrelationships.

4. Guidance on identifying the most reliable open data sources online, including advice on how to efficiently and effectively access and utilize these data sources.

Duration:

The project is scheduled from June 8th to June 20th. [At least 3 sessions, 3 hours each]

Location:

Extensive In-Person Meetings in Cairo, Egypt, to ensure smooth communication and effectiveness.

Milestones:

1. Step-by-step procedure/explaination for statistical analysis using PowerBI or Advanced Excel.

2. Cleaned datasets with automated removal of outliers and ready for analysis.

3. Step-by-step procedure/explaination for geospatial analysis using QGIS.

4. Guidance on data collection techniques.

Budget:
