Smart Door Lock using AVR ATmega 16 Microcontroller

The system is an application for interfacing the Atmega 16 Microcontroller with different devices.

The main components:-

- Atmega 16 Microcontroller

- LCD

- 3 * 4 Keypad

- 12V Buzzer

- L293D Motor Driver

- Passive components like Resistors, Capacitors, and LEDs

At first, the system will check if this is the first time using the system or not.

If it's the first time, it will allow you to create a password. And if it's not the first time using the system, which means that there is already a saved password.

Then the system will give the user two options. Either to open the door by entering the correct password. Or changing the saved password and setting up a new one.

If the user entered a wrong password three times, this will fire up an alarm system.

Developed using C language in Code Vision AVR IDE, and simulated using Proteus 8 Professional.
