During my 2D Graphics studies at the Information Technology Institute (ITI), I had the privilege of undertaking the redesign of the visual identity for the Grand Egyptian Museum.
Here's my approach to the project:
1 - I carefully studied the original logo, grasping its fundamental philosophy rooted in the museum's perspective, originating from the pyramids with the vanishing point at the museum's entrance.
2 - I distilled this concept into essential keywords: perspective, pyramids, and Pharaonic identity. Armed with these pillars, I set out to create a symbol or logo that encapsulated their essence.
3 - With the core symbol established, I proceeded to develop the remaining elements of the visual identity, including font selection, color palette, icons, and more.
Experience the realization of my project, where the visual identity of the Grand Egyptian Museum underwent a transformative journey. Rooted in the principles of perspective, pyramids, and Pharaonic identity, the new logo breathes life into the museum's essence.
