مهرجان المناطيد 2021

The activities of the Jordan Balloon Festival, in its first edition, kicked off on Friday, which will be held in the Golden Triangle (Wadi Rum, Petra, and Aqaba).

The Balloon Festival will be held from 1-5 October this year.

Al-Mamlaka correspondent said that the occupancy rate of Wadi Rum camps over the weekend reached 100%.

The Commissioner for Tourism and Economic Affairs in the Aqaba Authority, Sharhabeel Madi, told Al-Mamlaka that the balloon festival will be launched annually.

Madi added that "the festival will continue in Wadi Rum for 3 days, and will be transferred to Petra and Aqaba, and balloons will be launched there."

He pointed out that occupancy rates in several locations in the Golden Triangle increased during the last period.

مراسلة "المملكة" قالت إن نسبة إشغال مخيمات وادي رم في عطلة نهاية الأسبوع وصلت إلى 100%.

مفوض السياحة والشؤون الاقتصادية في سلطة العقبة شرحبيل ماضي، قال لـ"المملكة"، إنه سيتم إطلاق مهرجان المناطيد بشكل سنوي.

وأضاف ماضي أن "المهرجان سيستمر في وادي رم لمدة 3 أيام، وسينقل إلى البترا والعقبة وسيتم إطلاق المناطيد فيها".

وأشار إلى أن نسب الإشغال في عدة مواقع في المثلث الذهبي ارتفعت، خلال الفترة الماضية
