The Passerby - عابر سبيل

بدأت هذا العمل كقصة قصيرة من فصل واحد "تسعمائة كلمة"، وقد فازت حينها بجائزة أفضل قصة في جامعة الأسكندرية لعام 2014. بعدها بعدة سنوات خلقت امتداداً لخط الحكي الرئيسي في القصة وأضفت أحداثاً متصاعدة وتطورات في الحبكة لتصبح قصة جديدة تماماً، يصل طولها لعشر صفحات، وتعرض منظوراً مختلف كلياً. فيما أعتقد، أن كتاب القصة والأدب سيقدرون هذا التحدي.

This story was initially written as a one-chapter, 900-word short story that won

Alexandria University best short story in 2014. Years later, I extended the story line to make new rising-actions and a plot twist. It was a challenge, that fiction writers would appreciate, to remake the story to present a more entertaining work that serve a completely different point of view, not limited by the word count.
