A complex comparative essay that puts an ancient play by Sophacles "Antigone "with a recent text by Angela Davis "Color of Violence Against Women" and two different secondary sources; the film "Bulbul" by Anvita Dutt and the text "Women Race and Class" by Davis. In this essay I argue that women are capable of earning agency

regardless of any physical or mental violence they experience from misogynist state and household laws.
