Here is a design for a fire fighting system for a hospital in cairo from start to end.
The hospital protected by a sprinkler system (wet system) for all partitions except radiology department which protected by FM-200 system so as not to damage expensive devices by water in the event of fire and we don't use carbon dioxide system so as not to cause suffocation to the patients in the event of fire.
I have calculated flow rate and pressure head for a pump using ELITE software program.
Pipe sizing, sprinkler distribution, pump calculation and all design according to updated NFPA.
