Dr. Ahmad Elsayed is currently an assistant professor of Cardiology, Ain Shams university and consultant of Cardiology at Dar Al-Fouad hospital.

Dr. Ahmad Elsayed was graduated in 2003 from Ain Shams university (Excellent with highest honors), and completed his residency program in cardiology department, Ain Shams university in 2008. He then served as a fellow of intervention cardiology at the heart center of Segeberger Kliniken (The academic teaching hospital of the university of Kiel and Hamburg), Bad Segeberg, Germany where he was certified for interventional cardiology sub-speciality training in Europe in 2011. He had his Master and Doctorate degrees in cardiovascular medicine accomplished at Ain Shams university in 2007 and 2012 respectively.

He has a special interest in complex coronary intervention, intracoronary imaging and structural heart disease intervention and is a proctor for Transcatheter aortic valve implantation for Medtronic since 2015.

Dr. Ahmad Elsayed has many international publication in coronary intervention and structural heart disease intervention and has been a director and coordinator of many annual Egyptian scientific activities in addition of being the director of the TAVI program at Ain Shams university.
