🚀 Introducing Marketix — Our HCI Project
I’m excited to share Marketix, an online shopping app that my team and I worked on as part of our HCI course at the Faculty of Science, Alexandria University – SIM Department.
🔍 Our process included:
• Competitor analysis & competitor mapping
• User survey and survey analysis
• Creating user personas based on our research
• User Journey Mapping
• User Flow & User Activity
• Information Architecture (IA)
• Sitemap
• Low-Fidelity & Medium-Fidelity wireframes
• Interactive prototyping
💡 What makes Marketix different?
We introduced a flexible delivery pricing system that gives users more control over their orders.
Users can choose how much they want to pay for delivery based on how quickly they need their order.
If they need it faster, they can pay more; if they are not in a hurry, they can choose a cheaper delivery option and wait longer.
This project was a great opportunity to experience how UX research, user needs, information architecture, and interaction design come together to create a more user-centered product.
