Al Ostoura — Creative Poster Redesign

The Challenge

A client requested a promotional poster for the Egyptian drama series Al Ostoura, despite the series being an older production. The main challenge was to present the classic work in a fresh, modern, and visually appealing style suitable for today’s social media audience, without losing the identity and atmosphere associated with the original series.

The Approach

I developed a cinematic poster concept focused on visual storytelling and character composition. I carefully arranged the main characters to create a strong focal point, while using dramatic lighting, warm cinematic tones, depth, and contrast to enhance the overall mood.

The typography was treated as an important visual element, with a distinctive Arabic title integrated into the composition to complement the imagery rather than simply placing text over it. I also incorporated supporting credits and details while maintaining a clean visual hierarchy.

The Result

The final design transformed the concept of a classic television series into a modern cinematic social media poster, giving the old production a fresh visual identity while preserving its dramatic character and recognizable atmosphere.
