Design the Base Plate Connection with RAM Connection

Design the Connection Between Column and Foundation (Base Plate).

Column Section (UKB 610X229X125)(British Sections) & Steel Grade 355

Assume S weld = 6 mm & Fu= 5.10 t/cm2 & Fy = 3.55 t/cm2

The connection analysis of the Building between column and foundation was carried out using the Finite Element Method (Program RAM-Connection 3D modelling). A 3D- FEM was constructed considering the Base Plate. Dead load, Permanent load and wind loads were considered as uniformly distributed loads, and manual calculation for it too.
