4-Cylinder Engine – 3D CAD Modeling, Assembly & Engineering Drawings

Designed and developed a 3D CAD model of a four-cylinder internal combustion engine using SolidWorks. The project involved modeling the main mechanical components, assembling the components into a functional engine assembly, applying assembly mates, and preparing engineering drawings for selected parts.

The modeled components include the crankshaft, pistons, connecting rods, piston pins, and piston rings. The design was developed using parametric SolidWorks features and mechanical dimensions, followed by assembly and motion visualization to verify the interaction between the major components.

Engineering drawings were also prepared for selected components, including dimensional information, material specifications, drawing scale, and manufacturing-oriented views.
