enterprise network design & IP addressing ( subnetting implementation )

Designed and implemented a scalable IPv4 addressing strategy for a corporate network environment, ensuring optimal resource allocation and network efficiency.

​Key Technical Achievements:

​Hierarchical Subnetting: Developed a complex addressing plan using VLSM (Variable Length Subnet Mask) to support multiple departments (IT, HR, Sales, and Finance) while minimizing IP address wastage.

​Network Segmentation: Defined subnets based on specific host requirements, establishing clear boundaries for broadcast domains and enhancing network security.

​Comprehensive Documentation: Created a detailed IP Addressing Scheme including Network IDs, Usable Host Ranges, Broadcast Addresses, and Default Gateways for each subnet.

​Validation: Verified the design through Cisco Packet Tracer, ensuring full connectivity and correct routing table propagation across the infrastructure.
