FOOD DELIVERY PLATFORM

- GourmetGo is a complete online food-delivery platform built with pure PHP (no framework)

- Consists of a customer storefront and a comprehensive admin dashboard for the restaurant

- Powered by MySQL (13 tables) with JSON REST APIs

LOGIN & ACCOUNTS

- Google-only sign-in (no passwords) via OAuth

- JWT authentication with a secure session (HttpOnly cookie)

- Two main roles: Customer and Admin

- Operators: staff granted granular per-module privileges (orders, menu, reports, etc.)

MENU

- Browse the menu with search, filters (price, vegetarian, spicy, gluten-free...) and sorting, plus pagination

- Dedicated page per dish with images, ratings, reviews, a like button, and price

- Full menu management from the admin panel: add/edit/delete dishes and categories

- Menu PDF auto-generated to match the site's dark rounded-card theme, downloadable for printing

CART & ORDERING

- Session-based shopping cart with quantities and special instructions

- Automatic 8% tax + GBP 3.99 delivery fee recalculation

- Checkout page with name, phone, and delivery address

- Order lifecycle: placed > confirmed > cooking > ready > out for delivery > delivered (+ cancelled)

TRACKING

- Order tracking page with a clear status stepper and timestamps

- Driver info (name, phone, vehicle) and estimated delivery time

- Real-time-style notifications via a JSON file + auto-refresh

ADMIN DASHBOARD

- Dashboard: KPIs (orders, revenue, active customers, avg delivery time) and charts

- Order management: filter by status, change status with a full audit log, and one-click status simulation

- Analytics: revenue by category, top dishes, ratings, orders by hour

- Reports: daily sales, top items, best operators + Excel (.xls) export

- Database backup (SQL dump) with one click

PRINTERS & RECEIPTS

- Support for up to 3 network printers (ESC/POS, raw, star, browser protocols) over port 9100

- Department routing: each menu category mapped to a specific printer

- Multiple receipt formats: HTML, PDF, and 80mm thermal, each with a QR code and restaurant logo

- Fully customizable receipts: logo, place name, slogan, address, phone with position control and social links

- QR code auto-generated to open the menu or menu PDF

- Arabic/English with full RTL support and localized currency (EGP / EGBP symbol)

- Likes & reviews on dishes with average-rating computation

- Suggestions/complaints page that emails the admin inbox

- Order confirmation and status-update emails via SMTP

SECURITY

- Google identity verification via tokeninfo, per-module privileges, request rate limiting, input validation, and PDO prepared statements
