Firebase Recipe Book Android Application

Project Overview:

Recipe Book is a native Android application designed to help users create accounts, sign in securely, and organize their personal recipes in one convenient place. The project addresses the difficulty of keeping recipes, ingredients, preparation steps, and related media organized and easily accessible.

Project Goal:

The goal was to build a simple and user-friendly application that allows users to manage their recipes through clear forms and an organized interface.

Tools and Technologies:

Java, XML, Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Firebase Storage, Git, and GitHub.

My Contribution:

I designed and developed the application interfaces, implemented account creation and login, connected the application to Firebase services, created the recipe submission form, and handled data validation, storage, testing, and debugging.

Final Result:

The project resulted in a functional Android application prototype with three core flows: user registration, secure login, and recipe creation. The application stores user and recipe data through Firebase and provides a clean foundation for adding more features in future versions.
