DriveLux

DriveLux is a web-based car rental project I built using PHP, MySQL, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and AJAX. The idea was to create a simple and practical platform where users can browse cars, check availability, and book vehicles online.

In this project, I focused mainly on database design and performance. I worked with MySQL stored procedures, triggers, functions, and indexes to handle bookings, calculate rental costs, and automatically update car availability. I also designed the database using proper relationships and constraints.

The system includes user authentication, an admin dashboard for managing cars and bookings, and a responsive interface built with Bootstrap.

This project helped me strengthen my backend development skills and deepen my understanding of database optimization and real-world system design.
