Key Landscape Design Elements

Microclimate Management & Shading: Implementation of innovative shading structures (e.g., tensile fabric, integrated architectural canopies) and strategic tree placement to reduce heat-island effect and enhance thermal comfort in outdoor viewing areas and pedestrian pathways.

Xeriscaping and Native Planting: The planting palette focuses on drought-tolerant, native, and regionally-appropriate species (Xeriscaping) to ensure sustainability and reduce reliance on irrigation systems, aligning with Qiddiya's environmental goals.

Premium Public Realm & Paving Design: Design of high-end, durable hardscape materials (stone, low-glare pavers) to manage pedestrian flow for VIP access and large spectator crowds. Paving patterns and site furniture are integrated to define specific zones: ceremonial gathering, casual viewing, and private terrace access.
