Inline 4-Cylinder Engine (L4)

Recently, I worked on designing and assembling a complete L4 engine model to improve my mechanical design and CAD skills. The project included modeling the main engine components such as the cylinder block, pistons, connecting rods, crankshaft, and cylinder head.

One of the most interesting parts of this project was creating the crank-slider motion relationship and ensuring that piston movement stays synchronized with the crankshaft rotation. After completing the assembly, I created an exploded animation to demonstrate how the engine components fit together, followed by rendering the model to present it in a more realistic way.

Projects like this help me better understand mechanical systems not only from a theoretical perspective, but also from a design and visualization point of view.

Currently continuing to develop my skills in CAD modeling, assemblies, and mechanical visualization.
