Self Sustained Villa

The design aimed to create a fully energy-self-sufficient home that authentically reflects Emirati cultural heritage. Old Emirati architectural elements were carefully integrated, including window screens, inner courtyards, double roofing, PV cells, hybrid earth pipe systems, and natural materials such as wood, rammed earth, and limestone plastering. Rooms were oriented to capture views and maximize natural ventilation during mild seasons. Bent entrance forms were incorporated to ensure privacy and maintain the dignity of the home when receiving guests and Majlis visitors.
