Vacuum Gantry System (2-Axis) | SolidWorks – Academic Team Project

I’m pleased to share a college team project developed using SolidWorks, focused on the design of a 2-Axis Vacuum Gantry System (X–Y) for Pick & Place industrial applications.

? Project Overview:

Complete mechanical design using SolidWorks (Parts & Assemblies)

Rigid industrial steel gantry frame

Two horizontal motion axes (X–Y) with linear guides and belt drive

Vacuum-based gripping system with multiple suction cups

Maximum load capacity: 6.5 kg

Designed for integration with PLC & stepper motor control

Safety and maintenance considerations based on industrial standards
