This project presents the design and development of a smart, portable, and high-efficiency solar water heating system based on the thermosiphon principle, enabling natural water circulation without the need for external pumps or additional energy input.

The system utilizes a flat-plate solar collector with an optimized serpentine copper tube configuration to maximize heat absorption and transfer efficiency. Solar radiation is captured by a black-coated absorber surface, converting solar energy into thermal energy, which is then transferred to the water flowing through the copper piping network.

The thermosiphon mechanism drives the system operation, where heated water rises naturally to the elevated storage tank due to density differences, while cooler water flows downward to the collector. This continuous passive circulation ensures reliable and energy-efficient performance without mechanical components.

The storage tank is thermally insulated to minimize heat loss and maintain water temperature for extended periods. The collector is installed at an optimized tilt angle to ensure maximum solar exposure based on geographic location.

The system is supported by a durable and portable frame equipped with wheels, allowing easy movement, positioning, and adaptability for different environments.
