Fire Protection & Fire Alarm System Design for a Residential Building

I designed the complete fire protection and early warning systems for a multi-family residential building. The design was tailored to ensure maximum safety for residents while maintaining cost-efficiency and compliance with international and local building codes.

Scope of Work:

Automatic Sprinkler System: Designed a full coverage sprinkler network for residential units, corridors, and underground parking areas in accordance with NFPA 13.

Fire Alarm System: Developed an addressable fire alarm layout (NFPA 72) featuring smoke detectors in all habitable areas and heat detectors in kitchens and parking levels.

Hydraulic Analysis: Performed rigorous hydraulic calculations to optimize pipe sizing and ensure the fire pump system meets the required flow and pressure demands.

Civil Defense Compliance: Prepared all technical drawings and documentation to facilitate smooth approval from civil defense authorities
