Designing and Implementing a Secure LAN with Cisco Packet Tracer

I have designed and implemented a comprehensive Local Area Network (LAN) architecture focusing on high performance, stability, and robust security. The project was executed using Cisco Packet Tracer, and it includes the following advanced configurations:

VLAN Segmentation: Divided the network into logical segments to enhance security, improve broadcast management, and reduce network congestion.

Port Security: Implemented Layer 2 security by enforcing MAC Address Filtering on switch ports to prevent unauthorized access and mitigate rogue device connections.

STP Optimization:

PortFast: Enabled to ensure near-instant connectivity for end-user devices by bypassing the standard Spanning Tree listening and learning states.

BPDU Guard: Activated to protect the network topology from accidental loops and unauthorized switch injections, ensuring a loop-free environment.
