This project demonstrates the design and simulation of a two-digit decimal counter using an ATmega32 microcontroller. The system drives two 7-segment displays through a BCD-to-7-segment decoder (7447), with transistor-based switching for multiplexing between digits.

Push buttons are used as inputs to control the counting behavior, while the microcontroller handles the logic and timing required for proper display updates. The use of multiplexing allows both digits to be displayed efficiently using shared data lines.

This project highlights my skills in embedded systems, including microcontroller interfacing, digital electronics, and real-time control, as well as my ability to simulate and debug complete hardware-software systems.
