SafetyWatch – AI Safety Monitoring System

SafetyWatch is an AI-powered safety monitoring system that analyzes live video streams using computer vision and machine learning to detect individuals and monitor environments in real time. The system helps automate surveillance tasks and improve situational awareness by transforming raw video data into actionable insights.

My Role

As the Machine Learning Developer on this project, I was responsible for designing and implementing the core AI components of the system. My work included:

Developing the computer vision pipeline for processing live camera feeds.

Building and integrating machine learning models for face detection and recognition.

Implementing real-time video analysis using OpenCV.

Integrating the AI model into a Streamlit-based graphical interface for monitoring and interaction.

Performing data preprocessing, model testing, and performance evaluation to improve detection accuracy.
