Secure a Network Using Cisco Security Features

This project focused on enhancing network security through a structured approach using Cisco technologies.

We began by establishing basic security measures on Cisco devices, which included configuring access control lists (ACLs) and implementing port security. This foundational work laid the groundwork for a secure network environment.

Next, we advanced our security framework by configuring VLANs and refining ACLs to control network traffic and access between different segments. This step was critical in ensuring that communication remained secure and efficient.

We then integrated advanced security features such as DHCP snooping, dynamic ARP inspection, and IP source guard, which further strengthened our defenses against potential threats.

Finally, we documented all security configurations and conducted thorough testing of the network’s security measures. We compiled our findings into a comprehensive report and prepared a presentation summarizing the implemented security strategies.

This project provided valuable insights into network security, equipping us with the skills and knowledge necessary to tackle real-world cybersecurity challenges.
