Smart Gate System for Car Access Control

Developed a Smart Gate System that uses AI-based license plate recognition to automatically manage vehicle access.

Key features of the system:

Implemented a license plate recognition model to detect and identify car plate numbers.

Used a Raspberry Pi as the main controller to process the camera input and run the system.

Once the vehicle is recognized, the system automatically opens the gate using a servo motor to allow access.

The system stores vehicle information and entry data in a database, enabling tracking of authorized vehicles.

Provides the ability to monitor the number of cars and maintain records for security and management purposes.

This project demonstrates the integration of computer vision, AI, and IoT hardware to build an intelligent access control system for parking areas, residential compounds, or secure facilities.
