Shawarmani

​In collaboration with my company's team, I helped develop the vibrant, custom website for Shawarmani, a popular new eatery in Merrylands known for its authentic shawarma and burgers. As a developer on the project, my role was to bring this fun, high-energy brand to life online while creating a seamless, conversion-focused user experience that drives both dine-in visits and online delivery orders.

​Key Features & UI/UX Highlights:

​Appetizing & Playful UI: We built the site around a warm, food-inspired color palette of creamy beiges, deep browns, and fiery oranges. The custom animated mascot was integrated cleanly into the hero section to immediately establish the brand's fun and energetic personality.

​Visual Category Navigation: To make the menu highly accessible, we implemented interactive, image-led category cards right below the hero section, allowing users to quickly jump to sections like Shawarma, Burgers, or High Protein Healthy Meals.

​Strategic Delivery Integrations: Knowing that online orders are a major revenue stream, we integrated clear, visually distinct call-to-action blocks directing users to their Uber Eats platform.

​Structured "Featured Menu": We designed a clean, readable grid layout for the "Featured Menu" section, breaking down complex menu items and family deals into easily digestible text blocks with varied typography.

​Community & Social Proof: The site features a dedicated "The Viral Flavour of Merrylands" section to build local connection, alongside a dynamic "Check Out Our Grams!" section that pulls in an active Instagram feed to showcase real customer experiences and food quality.

​Brand Value Callouts: Custom icon blocks were developed to highlight key selling points quickly: Fresh Ingredients, Halal & Healthy, and Western Sydney Vibes.
