ALU to Huawei Swap and Modernization Project Manager

Thanks for your reply for my 1st round application , please let me clarify more for my role and contribution . ( will submit in English).

Project Name : Telecom Operator Network equipment swap from ALU to Huawei

My Role: Project Manager

My Company : Huawei

1. Project Scope :

Engineering Service for telecom equipment deployment including:

A. Planning & Design

B. Hardware installation, commossioning , integration , acceptance test and service cutover .

C. Site Qty: 600 sites ( 2G service ).

Main Challenges of this project delivery :

A: ALU network KPIs formula and mapping

B: Local Resouce Limitation .

C: Subcontractor resource limitation .

My role as a project manager to manage E2E from initiation phase to handover phase including project team management ( Huawei project team , subcontractor teams : more than 40 persons)

Communication management ( Huawei high level team & Customer project team , seniors, CTO).

I led the project by first finding the solution for the main challenges:

A: for network KPIs, we held many meeting with customer project team for this challenge solution and we hardly agreed with customer team to follow current OSS KPIs and on condition that the Network KPIs after swap not less than current KPIs.

B: for delivery period shortage : I aligned with the regional HR team in Egypt to support us for Remote Team support during the project period beside the local team and finally we successeded to delivery the project on time ( 5 months)

C: For subcontractor teams shortage : I aligned with procurment team to qualify new subcontractor ( as we had only one subcontractor that time ) and we trained the new subcontractor teams before the project starts and finally we had 10 subcontractors team from both 2 companies ).

Project Delivery Result: Success with appreciation ( finished project in 5 months , each month we finsihed 120 sites as we delivered 30 sites each week).
